EP 2 - kanker to Chitrakote - South Chhattisgarh Tour, Tata mari, Kondagaon craft

Bastar is a popular district of Chhattisgarh as it holds immense tourism opportunities. Though there are many places to visit in Bastar district, but the most famous of these is the Chitrakote waterfalls.

In the last episode EP - 1, we showed you the journey from Raipur to Kanker and in this episode you will see the journey from Kanker to Chitrakote ( Bastar district).

Following are the activities that we did during this day, This video was shot during the last week of february, date of shooting was 27th feb 2022

Accomodation - we stayed over night at Hillmyna hotel at Kanker - This is a Chhattisgarh tourism property, stay is just ok, not so good, i think they need to increase staff at this property.

Makri dhaba - This is a famous landmark dhaba of kanker, though the food at this eatery is average but the kheer that they serve is super tasty, Its basically famous for its kheer.

Tatamari - We reached this newly developed tourist attraction, had lunch at this place and enjoyed the scenic views.

Kondagaon - We visited Jhitku mitki shop for handicrafts, Kondagaon is famous for its craft work, largely for crasts made from bell metal and wrought iron.

Johar ethnic resort - this is a government run property, we went there to see the the model of village that exists in Bastar district. They have rooms and cottages for tourists.

Lala ji restaurant - we had dahi bhalla at this old eatery at the Kondagaon bus stand.

Reached Chitrakote - we reached Chitrakote ( Bastar district) , we stayed there at Dadami resort, which is run by Chhattisgarh tourism.
