How to make a panel of 30 clay tiles without a kiln using DAS air drying clay

This is NOT a paid promotion, I just like working with this kind of clay.
details to follow
0:00 A look at the materials used for this demo.
DAS air drying clay 1kg packet will make 80 of these tiles.
lino cutter with a selection of blades
soft lino sheets. I used PVA glue to stick the tiles down and acrylic paint to add the colour.
1:04 DESIGN THE TILES Measure the tile into 6 equal squares and begin to draw your tile designs, keep these simple to begin with. (tiles are approx 2.5 inches)
3:14 CUTTING THE LINO Be very careful when cutting the tiles, don't try to remove too much of the surface, experiment with different marks and remember the deeper you cut the more raised the surface of the clay tile will be.
6:24 FORMING THE CLAY TILES Press the clay firmly onto the lino-cut template, keep them quite thin and press down with a smooth surface to flatten the backs. Trim all the access clay with a sharp knife. Put aside to dry.
12:24 THE FINISHED TILES Leave to dry for a couple of days before moving on to the next stage
12:43 FIXING TO THE PANEL I use an old canvas stretcher and hardboard panel. Fix in place with plenty of PVA glue and leave 24 hours to dry.
16:29 PAINTING THE TILES Begin with a base coat of black acrylic paint, make sure that all the tiles are covered and leave this to dry completely. For the final layers of paint I use Prussian Blue, Vandyke Brown and White acrylic. Apply using the dry brush technique to bring out the surface detail of each tile, allow each layer to dry before adding more white to the mix each time. Finish the paanal with a couple of coats of matte or gloss acrylic varnish.
