We got a new nigerian dwarf goat today & it is an intact buck. So why did we decide to get a new buck goat, bc we already have Tip? Well Tip is a wether goat, which means he has been fixed, & so Tip is just a pet goat, who we love dearly, so we decided to get a buck that wasn't fixed yet, bc that way we can breed our on goats to supply our farm with goat milk. And we have so many plans as to what to do with all the goat milk we should get in the near future.

One thing we would like to do with the fresh goat milk, is to use it to feed the cornish chickens & also the ducks with. The french have a breed of chicken called the Breese, & it is a very expense chicken, which is sought after by masters chefs in that region, if not the world, but the way farmers feed the Breese in the last 4 weeks is, but pouring goat's milk over crushed corn, & the French claim this adds so much flavor to the chickens., & that is what we want to do here on our farm as well.

Not to mention all the things we can use the milk for here on the homestead, like drinking, ice cream, soaps, cheese, etc.

And another reason is that we can breed our own goats, & sell the goat kids for a source of income on the farmstead. Nigerian dwarf goats are a very popular goat breed, & also we have Oldesouth's Goat Farm's breed stock here, which one of the top goat breeders in the country, which should help us when it comes selling the kids...once they are weaned & are old enough.
