Guyanese Karhi || Made with Freshly Ground Dhal- Episode 73

Описание к видео Guyanese Karhi || Made with Freshly Ground Dhal- Episode 73

In this video my grandmother demonstrates her recipe for Karhi. Basically this dish consists of pholourie that has been soaked in a dhal sauce or gravy. This dish is great for when you are fasting or even if you just want a great vegetarian dish. This karhi can be eaten with rice or paratha roti and can be eaten alongside any other vegetarian dishes. This is a recipe that is dying out because only the older generations know how to make this. But with this video I hope to keep the recipe alive. Enjoy!!
