Guilty Gear has been one of my favorite games over the last ten years and Potemkin is undoubtedly my favorite grappler. Maniac is the hardest difficulty and the final boss is quite notorious for her cheapness. Given my experience, the 1CC was not so difficult in all honesty, but I could see how non-experienced player could struggle. It's a deep and complex game but a lot of fun.

The only real obstacle to the 1CC is the final boss I-No, who has some special attacks that do crazy damage - even on block. Once you know how to avoid them, it shouldn't take too long to defeat her. She has three vicious attacks - one you should stay and duck in the far corner, another around mid-screen, and the other you should block with Faultless Defense (performed by holding back and 2 buttons [but not D] - this costs meter but prevents chip damage.)

The CPU reads inputs for sure, and you can use this to your advantage. Potemkin's slidehead is very useful. It is an unblockable move, but I think the CPU does not register it as such and thus tries to block it. If you can knock her down, you can try some simple oki. If she blocks your strikes, you can finish with a slidehead to knock her down and repeat. If your combo connects, you can follow up for a knock down. That's the theory anyway. It obviously doesn't always work like that, but it is a good plan imo.

This version is the Steam version, which can be bought for cheap in sales and was recently updated with superb rollback netcode.
