Описание к видео Webinar on Monitoring Climate Resilient WASH 290724

The joint WHO/UNICEF webinar, held on July 29 from 4:00-5:15 pm CEST and July 30 from 9:00-10:15 am CEST, addressed the increasing threats posed by climate-related hazards, shocks, and stresses to drinking water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) services.
The session discussed the initiative by WHO and UNICEF to review and identify indicators for enhanced monitoring of climate-resilient WASH at both national and global levels. The outcomes of this review aimed to shape future global monitoring efforts by the WHO/UNICEF Joint Monitoring Programme for Water Supply, Sanitation and Hygiene (JMP) and the UN-Water Global Analysis and Assessment of Sanitation and Drinking Water (GLAAS).
Participants gained insights into the ongoing JMP/GLAAS review, learned about ways the public could be involved in the process, and explored the broader context of monitoring climate-resilient WASH.
