Aseem Trivedi is an Indian political cartoonist and free speech activist, most famed for his Anti-corruption campaign known as Cartoons against corruption. He launched a website www.cartoonsagainstcorruption.com consisting of his sharp anti-corruption cartoons targeting corrupt system and the politics. He exhibited his cartoons in the MMRDA ground, Mumbai during the hunger strike of Anna Hazare in 2011. He is also a founder member of a movement against internet censorship famously known as “save your voice”. The movement opposed Information Technology Act of India and demanded democratic rules for the governance of Internet. In 2015, he started ‘Black & White', an online magazine for human rights, as an attempt to use cartoons in the campaigns to support the artist, bloggers, journalists and the HRDs, who are facing injustice and suppression for their work in any part of the world.
