34046 Braunton with The Lakelander (Hereford - Shrewsbury - Crewe - Preston - Shap - Carlisle - break - Whitehaven - Millom - Grange-over-Sands - Preston and return to Hereford) on Saturday 31st August 2024. The tour started and finished diesel top and tailed at Hereford with D213 and D1935 (47805).
Steam came on at Preston and off at Carnforth from where the train headed back to Hereford.
The train is seen from Greenholme on the climb to Shap on the West Coast Mainline on the outward leg with D1935 on the rear.
