Highlights from the eleven Commonwealth/Empire Games mile(till 1966)and 1500 metres(1970 on)finals.The list of champions is truly awe inspiring : Snell,Keino,Elliott (both Herb and Pete),Cram,Bannister,Bayi,Moorcroft....even the so called minor medals are more than impressive....Landy,Quax,Jipcho,Walker,Foster,etc. Have a thought for the great Rod Dixon,who in '74 final ran the fifth fastest 1500m.in history but only managed fourth place! I've loved putting this together...hope you enjoy it!!
