Old John didn't think much about Slough, and the reputation of this Berkshire town hasn't improved much since then. It was even the location for then grim yet hilarious Ricky Gervais comedy 'The Office' If this town really is such a depressing, brutalist, soulless dump then I had to see it with my own eyes.
