This changes EVERYTHING! GWM Tank 300 2024 review (petrol 4x4 SUV)

GWM has absolutely nailed it with the Tank 300 4x4 petrol SUV.

Well... mostly. There are still some things that this ladder-chassis, body on frame 4WD wagon could do better. But for the money -- it costs from $46,990 drive-away in Australia -- you can't get better.

From the Mercedes G-Wagen interior, to the zesty turbo-petrol engine, to the surprisingly good driving dynamics and the strong warranty on offer, there is plenty to like about this newcomer.

It's the best SUV from a brand from China that I've driven. And the first I've actually considered buying, too...
