Kailash Gurnani is the Chief Winemaker & blender at York Winery in India. He narrates his journey from being an undergraduate winemaking student in Adelaide, Australia to becoming a formidable winemaker & taste influencer of the Indian wine industry while sharing the epiphanies he had along the way.

Being a tropical country, the grape growing conditions and climate cycles in India are very different to the rest of the world. Ever since he started making wine in India the age of 23, Kailash has maintained a high standard of winemaking despite the unpredictable environment. Thanks to his intuitive and original approach, his wines have made a name for themselves among wine consumers in India & Abroad while winning several accolades at National & International Competitions including London & Hong Kong. I'm the Chief Winemaker & Director at York Winery which is one of the top 5 wine producers in India.
