Tartu Song Festival Grounds is a popular place where concerts, song and dance parties, sports events and theater performances take place. The construction of the singing stage began in 1989 and was completed in 1994. The stage can accommodate 5,000 singers, there are 10,000 seats, and in addition, there can be another 5,000 spectators on the hillsides.
