From the estate of a very prominent car collector and friend of ours. He bought it 22 years ago and kept it properly stored. It won an AACA senior national 1st prize in 1989. It also won a top honor from Lincoln owner's group. 1 of only 452 cabriolets made total in 1948 and this was the last year of this design. It is a genuine full classic as distinguished by the Classis Car Club of America. One of the last classics there are. This gives the car a higher status and enables it to participate in CCCA events. Air conditioning and power steering were added which will make touring that much better.

EXTERIOR: It certainly stood the test of time. The body is in excellent condition. No signs of rust or damage showinge. It is straight I don't see signs of bad body work or bubbling. The Grotto blue paint has a smooth glossy finish. It looks beautiful, there are some flaws if you look for them. The chrome and trim was restored beautifully. The power convertible top works. The frame is repainted, rechromed has new felt wrapped weatherstrips and is covered in tan Haartz cloth. The front plate proudly displays the "Major Award Winner" by the Lincoln Continental owners club and the Senior National 1st place AACA award. The wheels are trimmed out beautifully with raised script emblems. 2 unique features are the push button door openers and the "Continental" kit.

INTERIOR: Beautiful upholstery redone with correct ribbed cord cloth and leather trim. The door panels have been redone in genuine leather. It has the unique power window switches and push button door openers. The red clear plastic steering wheel looks to be in excellent shape. The dash is beautifully restored- it's all repainted, the gauges are restored, chrome sparkles etc. Premium carpet with bound edges and matching mats. I noticed the interior lights are working.
The air conditioning system is neatly mounted below the dash.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Legendary V-12 runs as smooth as a mouse in slippers. It is obvious the motor compartment was completely restored at the time restoration. All the components were the taken apart and restored individually. Two incredibly desirable features were added to it. One of which is air conditioning the other is power steering.
