The Archdiocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Peñafrancia in Paco, Manila, commemorates the 38th anniversary of the Canonical Coronation of their Patroness, Nuestra Señora de Peñafrancia de Manila. Their festival was both meaningful and joyful! Following the Concelebrated Mass for the Coronation anniversary, it was succeeded by the Street Dance they call the "Tatarin Festival." In Paco, Manila, this festival is renowned for its stunning costumes and dances that bring smiles to every spectator.

During my visit to Paco, Manila, I experienced the most "Province Type" atmosphere within the city of Manila. It felt as if I were in the province and not in Metro Manila. Here, everyone knows each other and collaborates. If there are visitors in their area, they greet and engage in conversations with them. This is the kind of place we want to explore, where the Paco community in Manila warmly welcomed us with open hearts. Truly, the Mother of the Poor loves her community.
