Dead Note Exercise For Bass: Practice Walking Bass and Add Dead Notes From E To A (I to IV)

Описание к видео Dead Note Exercise For Bass: Practice Walking Bass and Add Dead Notes From E To A (I to IV)

In this lesson we take a simple walking bass line that moves from E to A (or I to IV) and we learn how to add dead notes. First, we play all quarter notes and use chromatic motion to walk the bass from E to A. Then, we begin adding dead notes to add more rhythmic interest. Listen to how the dead notes add funk and groove to an otherwise simple walking line. Use this exercise to practice dead notes and make your walking bass lines more interesting.
