*Hi Folks..Jim Mills here....I was getting ready to make a video of this great original 1930's Pre War Gibson RB-1 Banjo...when "Henry" ...my Basset Hound decided he would weigh in on just how good this banjo sounds...as you will see...Henry likes it very much...and he also happens to have ..."Perfect Pitch" .....and when Henry likes a banjo... he howls a true "G" Note!!!...
Here now at Jim Mills Banjo Inc.....An Unaltered fully original 1930's....Original 5 String....Pre War Gibson RB-1 Banjo....featuring the ..."Gull Wing"... inlay pattern... its original factory friction 5th peg....Factory original small gauge frets.....and both bone nuts....This great sounding RB-1 also still features its original 1/4 inch rolled brass...."Tone Hoop".... and has no heavy cast "Tone Ring" at all.....it therefore weighs a good 3 pounds less than a standard Mastertone type banjo!!!! ....
This banjo has been loved and played quite a lot....and features the normal signs of playing wear to the back of its neck and fingerboard that any 85+ year old instrument that has been played and enjoyed would.....with absolutely no breaks or repairs whatsoever...
