Comparing Embroidery Samples - Auto vs Manual Digitizing Tips & Tricks

Being this is our final installment on Auto-Digitizing, I had to push our comparison to the limits and cross my fingers with a more complicated embroidery design, the result was pretty much what I expected.

Although the results of the auto digitized design visually look “almost” acceptable, the pathing and runtime leave much to be desired. There are so many issues with the design it's not worth even trying to edit a design this complex, as I know for sure, digitizing it manually would be far faster and less of a headache trying to sort out this mess. I’d compare it to untangling 100 feet of thread!

My final words regarding Auto-Digitizing: It might have a place with quite simple designs and estimating stitch counts, but 99% of the time I’d get better and faster results Digitizing manually.
