11 Snare drums compared - Ludwig, Sonor, Slingerland & more

Описание к видео 11 Snare drums compared - Ludwig, Sonor, Slingerland & more

Here's a comparison video of the 11 snare drums I own and use every day when tracking drums in my studio. This is 20 years of second-hand trading to find ones that I love and work for me, although I'm sure they won't be for everyone!

Hopefully this is a useful sound test if you're thinking of buying one of these on the used market, or it'll help you narrow down your choice of snare when using my remote session drumming service.

Snares used:
Sonor Phonic Beech 14x10"
Ludwig Supralite Steel 14x8"
Worldmax 'Black Dawg' brass 14x6.5"
Sonor Phonic Ferromanganese Steel D505 14x5.75"
Slingerland Student 3-ply maple 14x5.5"
Dixon Artisan Australian gum 14x5.5"
