Speech-Language Pathologists at Bethany Children's Health Center

Описание к видео Speech-Language Pathologists at Bethany Children's Health Center

Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) play an important role in the rehabilitation process! They work with patients on communication, speech and language development, feeding and swallowing, voice disorders, cognitive functioning and hearing impairments. For patients who are unable to communicate verbally, SLPs provide access to Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) tools that may enable a child the opportunities to read, write, express or comprehend language. Pediatric SLPs support patients utilizing a variety of treatment modalities that also incorporate fun and play into the treatment plans. #BetterHearingAndSpeechMonth #BHSM
