Quick video to show how to set up a custom constraint updated with the matrix node changes in Maya 2020.

You can easily use this to set up a parent, point, orient, or scale constraint - or any combination thereof... This video is an update I've been promising for a while in comment threads of some of my other videos... Sorry for the wait, and thank you for your patience! I start by doing a bit of a review of the concepts and previous video, then jump into some of the new stuff. This isn't an exhaustive look at all of the new matrix nodes but enough to get some really cool updated functionality.

Using matrix nodes in this manner creates a node network with only a few nodes and without any cycles for quicker evaluation than Maya's constraints
