Quick video to show how to create a constraint system on a joint with matrix nodes and work around those pesky joint orient issues...

I've had a few questions about how to do this, so I thought I'd make a video for you!

Also, there are a few notes I forgot to mention in the video. The composeMatrix node does not necessarily need to stay in your node network. You can use a getAttr on the ouputMatrix, and then setAttr on the multMatrix node's matrixIn[0] attr to actually keep that value (which should help clean it up a little bit). Maya's new offsetParentMatrix attr has trouble with joint orients as well, so you can use this method to get the correct rotation matrix to pump into the joint there as well.

Sorry it's been so long since I posted a video - thanks for sticking with me for those of you who follow me! I recently got a new microphone and adjusted my setup a little to hopefully get some better audio!
