I have been asked about "shorts videos" as opposed to my longer videos. If you take the last five longer videos, I have averaged 193 views per video. If you take the last 5 shorts videos, the average views totaled over 4600 per video. Shooting video clips, editing those clips into a movie, driving over 15 miles roundtrip to upload the video takes several hours. A shorts video can be done with a cell phone, has to be less than 1 minute in length and can be uploaded from virtually anywhere. That's why you see so many YouTubers uploading more shorts.
