Leo Chang is a Korean experimental musician and scholar based in Brooklyn, known for integrating cultural displacement themes into his music through improvisation and electronic processing. He has collaborated with a wide array of artists, participated in international music festivals, and received recognition from various arts organizations. Chang holds a PhD in Electronic Arts from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and has contributed significantly to the experimental music scene as both a performer and organizer. For his Interludes performance he performed an improvised set using his highly personal combination of Korean gongs, Piri, and vocals.
