Students stage pro-Palestinian protests at Lebanese universities

Hundreds of students held protests on Tuesday at Lebanese universities, including the American University of Beirut, in protest against the war on Gaza. They waved Palestinian and Lebanese flags and carried posters demanding their universities boycott companies that carry out business in Israel. Many of the protesters said they were inspired by similar demonstrations and sit-ins taking place across campuses in the United States and Europe.
