Stealth Hitches | Removing the Rack Receiver & Ball Mount Hitch Accessories

Chris Long gives a brief demo on how to easily remove the Rack Receiver or Ball Mount accessories from the stainless steel Latch Block on your Stealth hitch.

Removing the Rack Receiver / Ball Mount:
1 - Unlock the Latch Block: Remove the rubber cover and insert the key into the lock. Press in against the spring and turn clockwise 90°. This will allow the button to pop out. Do not attempt to turn the handle until the lock pops out.
2 - Remove the Accessory: Support the accessory with one hand and turn the handle clockwise until the accessory comes out.
3 - Cover the Lock & Insert the Rubber Plug: If you're done hauling, re-cover the lock and place the rubber plug into the stainless steel block to keep road grime and debris out of the opening. The lock and handle are also now in position to receive the next accessory.

Note: Using the right hitch accessory is crucial. The Rack Receiver is designed exclusively for hitch-mounted components like bike racks and cargo carriers. Never use the Rack Receiver for towing. Always use the Stealth Hitches Ball Mount Accessory when towing a trailer to ensure safe travels.
