2024 Sprocket Fuel XC MTB Race @ Harris Lake. Sport Class 50+ Team CUTTERS (see description )

The start of this race was 8 am but with perfect weather at about 65 degrees, it made for a cool and refreshing ride. There were 15 riders in my group, sport class 50+, and I finished 8th place. The competition was strong so my 8th place finish is ok. Although I was hoping for top 5. But it was a good day over all. A few from Team CUTTERS showed up today earning podium spots. Chris Guydish finished 1st in the Expert Class 50+ , Marc Demont finished 4th in the Sport Class 50+, Aaron Ackley placed 1st in the Open Single Speed, Ahmet Erbas placed 3rd in the Open Single Speed, Sebastian Ackley placed 1st in the Jr. 6-10 Open Class , Lilly Ackley placed 4th in the Super Jr. 6-8 Class but was the fastest female in this mixed group. And Gabe Murphy placed 1st in the Jr. 11-12 Male class. Looks like I was the only one who didn't get on the podium, but that's ok, I had a good ride/ race anyways.
