Scales & Tales - Pentatonic Puzzles

Описание к видео Scales & Tales - Pentatonic Puzzles

Here's the next episode of Scales & Tales with 'Pentatonic Puzzles.'
I haven't created a Scales & Tales lesson since last year, but I've been wanting to return to this series and beef up the content/material available on the channel.

This episode focuses on targeting pentatonic scales in a musical and approachable way, as we're hitting all five positions of the scale along the fretboard and noticing how they connect along the neck, much like pieces of a puzzle.

Once you start to visualize and see how you can arrange the notes from this common and useful scale on the neck, you can begin creating an assortment of licks, phrases, and melodic ideas that utilize this type of thinking and layout of fingerings on the neck of the guitar.

After you've worked through the material in this lesson, you should explore other keys, string groups, melodic phrases, movements, fingerings, and much more. This will give you more to explore and work through, not to mention the likelihood that you'll unlock and create a mountain of useful licks, phrases, and ideas along the way.
