Описание к видео Ep 8: Strengths in writing, coding and more with mom Jayashree Iyer

In this episode we are happy to spotlight the 13 year old Idhaant- a published author , poet, coder, budding historian and much more. In this conversation with his mother Jayashree Iyer's journey as a parent- on how a diagnosis helped her understand her son better, how they identified his strengths, nurtured and motivated him , the beautiful bond he shares with his younger sister and how we all evolve as human beings, thanks to our children.

What is neurodiversity ? It is just a normal variation in the human diversity and like everyone else, neurodivergent children come with their own set of strengths which when built on , helps them work wonders. sometimes all that it takes for a parent is to accept that diversity in their children.

Host Shwetha is parent of 18-year-old Aditi, an award winning author on the autism spectrum and 6-year-old Kriti who is already creative with her poems and artworks. As a parent-advocate, Shwetha feels that there is so much of conflicting views on the internet about neurodiversity that it would help if parents are able to access reliable resources that would help them work with their child better. She wants to bring to the fore stories of special-needs parents who have focussed on their child's strength and passion to make the journey for all of them happier.
