Here is a magnificent trio of clarinets in a live performance from the Eddie Condon Town Hall Concert of 26 August 1944. In order of appearance the clarinetists are Ernie Caceres, Joe Marsala and Pee Wee Russell. The photo of the clarinet trio is from the actual concert. Eddie Condon is the narrator and the stellar rhythm section consists of Gene Schroeder on piano, Bob Haggart on bass and Gene Krupa at the drums. Several other guest musicians provide the background harmony. Listen to these 3 different artists each with their individual distinctive sound. Enjoy!!
