This video shows how I turned a super loud whistle from some scraps of olive wood. The pieces were approximately 3/4 inch square by 4 inches. About the same size as a standard pen blank. This is a fun and fast project for lathes of any size. I used the lathe's indexing system to hold the piece steady while sawing and chiseling
