10 Minute turning project. #03 - Whistle.

Here you see me take a small blank of oak wood and turn it on the woodturning lathe into a whistle.

Admittedly this doesn't sound great and since turning this piece I have learnt a few things. Firstly the hole you blow through should be a little smaller, the angle of the diagonal cut should have been steeper (closer to 45°) and finally the whole cut was a bit too deep. That said, it's a fun project and certainly won't be the last one I make.
