गौरा पर्व किन र कसरी मनाईन्छ ।। Goura festival in Nepal

भदौ शुक्ल पञ्चमीदेखि आरम्भ हुने नेपालका सुदूरपश्चिमेलीहरुको महान पर्व गौरा पर्वको पहिलो दिन महिलाहरुले घरघरमा तामाको भाँडामा बिरुडा (पाँच प्रकारका अन्न) भिजाएर गौरा पर्वको विधिवत रुपमा सुरुवात गर्दछन । भदौ शुक्ल पञ्चमीका दिन बिरुडा भिजाउने चलन रहिआएकाले सुदूरपश्चिममा यस पञ्चमीलाई बिरुडा पञ्चमीका नामले पनि चिन्ने गरिएको छ ।
बिरुडामा गहत, गुराउस, केराउ, चना, मटर मिसाएर बिरुडा भिजाउने चलन छ । यसलाई क्वाटी भनेर भन्दा बुझ्न सजिलो हुन्छ । कही कतै मास र गहँु पनि मिसाईन्छ । जे होस पाँच वटा अन्नको बिरुडा बनाईन्छ । दोस्रोत दिन भिजाईएका बिरुडा पंधेरा, नाउला, धारामा धुदै नाउला, पंधेरामा, धारामा समेत गौराको प्रतिमूर्ती स्थापना गरि बिधिवत रुपमा पूजा गरिन्छ । यसलाई नाउला वा पंधेरा (पन्यारा)की गौरा भन्ने प्रचलन रहेको छ ।
त्यस्तै सप्तमीका दिन गौरा देवीलाई नजिकैको मठमन्दिर वा गौरा घरमा भित्र्याएर पूजा अर्चना गरी विवाहित महिलाहरुले दुवधागो (मन्त्रिएको एक किसिमको धागो) चढाउने चलन छ । अठेवली अर्थात अष्टमीको दिन व्रत बसेर गौरा पर्व मनाउने स्थल गौरा खला (आँगन) मा पार्वती र महेश्वर (शिव)को पूजापाठ गर्ने चलन छ ।
गौराको दोस्रो दिन बिरुडा धुनुका साथै विभिन्न धार्मिक तथा प्राचीन महत्वसँग जोडिएका धार्मिक गाथा, फाग, धमारी चाचरी, सगुना, देउडा लगायातका गीत र गाथा गाउनुका साथै भारी खेल खेलेर सुदूरबासी रमाउने गर्दछन ।

As there is a tradition of soaking Biruda on Vadau Shukla Panchami day, this Panchami is also known as Biruda Panchami in Far West.
There is a tradition of soaking the biruda by mixing wheat, gurus, banana, chickpeas and peas in the biruda. It is easier to understand than as quati. Sometimes meat and wheat are also mixed. In any case, biruda of five grains is made. On the second day, the soaked Birudas are washed in Pandhera, Naula, Dhara and idols of Goura are installed in the Naula, Pandhera, and also in Dhara and worshiped in a formal manner. It is popularly called Gaura of Naula or Pandhera (Panyara).
Similarly, on the day of Saptami, it is customary for married women to offer duvadhago (a kind of enchanted thread) to Gaura Devi after offering worship to Gaura Devi in ​​the nearby monastery or Gaura house. It is customary to fast on the day of Athevali or Ashtami and worship Parvati and Maheshwar (Shiva) in Gaura Khala (courtyard), the place where Gaura festival is celebrated.
On the second day of Gaura, apart from washing the biruda, the villagers enjoy playing heavy games and singing religious songs and songs of Phag, Dhamari Chachari, Saguna, Deuda Lajaat, which are connected with various religious and ancient significances.
