My awful experience w/ Finnish Embassy in India - forced to go to Delhi during Covid & pregnancy

We had to travel to Delhi all the way from Kerala to renew my current Finnish passport. We had no intention of travelling during the 6th month of my pregnancy, the Covid situation and the Delhi pollution, but there was no way the embassy would renew my passport without my physical presence there. My passport expires in Apr 21, which also means I can't get Indian visa beyond that. What makes the problem even more interesting is that my due date of pregnancy is sometime in Mar! Add to that, the concerns of travelling during pregnancy. Anyway, we reached the embassy and had to almost return without a passport! I almost broke down but finally it did end on a good note. The good thing that came with this unavoidable travel to Delhi is that we did get to meet family in Jaipur and celebrate Diwali with them. We also got other errands completed while we were in Delhi. So it wasn't that bad at all. When life gives you lemons, make a vlog with them :)
