Join experts from #savingourspecies, NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service, and Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary as they capture wild eastern bristle birds for a successful captive breeding and release program. While this sort of intervention isn’t the go-to for most threatened species, it’s required in the case of this critically endangered bird which occurs in several disjunct populations with little to no genetic flow between them.
