EU’s Foreign Subsidies Regime: Webinar

The development of the new EU Foreign Subsidy Regime has been carefully watched by businesses and governments around the world, particularly those that are active or have business interests in the EU’s single market.

Organised by the EU Delegation to Singapore with support from the EU’s Service for Foreign Policy Instruments (FPI), in partnership with Singapore Management University, Sidley Austin and ECIPE, this webinar on 15th November 2022 presented the policy objectives behind the EU’s foreign subsidy regime policy, history and latest developments of the proposed regulation.

The webinar also discussed key aspects and practicalities of the new foreign subsidy regime from different perspectives, and how the regulation could affect companies across the globe going forward.
