Maya El-Khoury was appointed as Trade Commissioner at the Embassy of Canada in April 2016. In this role, Maya is responsible for both the Oil & Gas and Mining sectors.

Before joining the Trade team, Maya has worked within the Embassy for more than 10 years in the Consular and Trade sections. Maya has also more than 5 years’ work experience in the private and the banking sectors in Lebanon.

Maya holds a Master’s degree in Marketing and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Holy Spirit University - Kaslik, Lebanon and is fluent in English, French and Arabic.
