disable oil injection on skidoo snowmobile. oil injection is a great thing until you have a problem. I have had 2 problems with oil pumps in 15000 km on my skandic SUV. the last time it seized and required a rebuild. this method is working well for me and ensures the pump remains oiled. the throttle cable connection to the pump can be left connected however I decided to disconnect it and eliminate any more issues that may be caused by the pump as the return spring is getting pinched between the oil lever shaft and the housing due to increased wear in the shaft.
