If you have any questions regarding anything in the video I would happily try and explain more about it in the comments.

Topics key points!

MID DISTANCE BACKHAND LOOP
-keep backswing length shorter to better adjust for the different heights and speeds of the balls
-Racket angle more open so stroke can be more back to forwards instead of down to up which makes timing these shots more difficult.

KEEP SAME STRUCTURE FOR BACKHAND BLOCK AND COUNTERLOOP
-try not to block with hand way out in front so that when opponent gives you a chance you can counter-loop with backhand turning a defense point into an offense point

SHORT FORWARD STROKE FOR KICK AND TOPSPIN SERVES
-timing a kick serve is difficult and you dont need to take a big backswing because there is already plenty of topspin on the ball. Simply go forwards through the ball to increase % of balls on the table.

BODY FORWARDS ON UNDERSPIN STROKES
-keeping the body angle forwards when looping ALL backhands is a good idea, it will keep your racket angle consistant and help make clean contact with all the balls, dont be afraid to take the ball off the bounce.

LEARN TO HAVE AN OPEN ANGLE FOR BACKHAND
-the problem with a closed angle is that it forces you to have to swing very fast in order to get the ball to go up, which decreases consistency
-also very hard to flip or loop heavy underspin balls
-really helps to open angle when looping topspin because you can focus on going forwards and through the ball instead of trying to lift the ball which causes many timing problems.
-its also much easier to go from an open angle to a closed angle in the backhand stroke when you want to counterloop a spiny topsin ball.
-also makes it easier to transition between blocking and looping.
-IMPORTANT to keep spinning the ball even when your angle is more open.
-USE A HARDBAT or cheap racket to learn to play with an open angle pretend you are spinning the ball while keeping the angle more open.
have patients it takes a lot of practice!!!
