Even if you don't have Hatch Embroidery, the ideas and skills in this video can be used in any embroidery software. The tools may be different, but the process is the same. Keep an open embroidery mind and learn applique.

Beginner Applique Class

Welcome to Wilcom Hatch Appliqué Class 1

In this class, we learn all about applique! I explain the different ways of digitizing applique as well as all of the tools that we can use to make the applique process easier. Once we go over everything, we digitize this awesome and super cute sunflower design - from the applique center to different ways of doing the petals and adding some details to the work to make the applique design come together in the end. Add some lettering and you have an awesome design!
