Armored Core 6 After 40 Hours (No Spoilers)

Ever since I watched the Game Awards, I've seen tons of folks wondering just how much the newly revealed Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon is gonna resemble From Software's Souls games. Partly 'cause Elden Ring rocked it, and partly 'cause Armored Core hasn't quite hit that big-time mainstream status. I was one of those curious cats, so I decided to dive into all the numbered Armored Core games and a handful of spin-offs to get a good feel for what this series is all about.

Let me tell ya, it's been a hot minute since a game series grabbed my attention like this. With its heavy-hitting combat, endless customization options, and worldbuilding that probably influenced the Souls games, Armored Core has me hooked.
