If you play RPGs there are certain side quests you can’t avoid. Quests that are inextricably woven into the DNA of every adventure. From fetch quests to escort missions and rat hunting here are 7 side quests that are in every RPG, by law. How many times have you taken on these side quests?

You’re probably expecting a few of these RPG side quests. Fetching items for a troubled villager; being tricked into a monster hunt by a troubled villager; having to guide a troubled villager from one side of the map to the other… lots of troubled villagers, basically. These are not always the best side quests, but they are a crucial part of the experience - you’d miss them if they were gone.
