In this video I took another trip to Colorado from May 17-20th, 2024. The purpose of this trip was to participate in two photo charters hosted by Dak Dillon Photography on the Durango and Silverton as well as the Colorado Railroad Museum. This video covers the D&S Charter, featuring K-36 Mikado #480, pulling a Maintenance of Way consist of ballast hoppers, flatcars loaded with sections of rail, a ballast gondola, a few passenger cars, and a caboose. I hope you enjoy watching this interesting consist make its way up the Animas River Canyon as much as I did.
