Before Huawei started sticking lidars on cars, XPeng were the original autonomous driving kings in China. Their P5 was the first production car in the world to be fitted with lidar and boast city autonomous driving, but only in one city.

With the added brain power of the XPeng G6, XNGP now covers four Chinese cities, so we took it out to see how it fares against Huawei's ADAS system on the busy streets of Shanghai.
