How to Marry a foreigner in India - Religious Conversion? Special Marriage Act?

In this vlog I explain the intricacies of getting married to a foreigner in India. The process is quite complicated and I would recommend getting legal help to make the ride a little smoother. Since the personal laws in India are religion based, it can become quite an annoying process to marry across religions. The Special Marriage Act 1955 is supposed to help with this but the process is very convoluted.

We got married in Oct 2019 in Visakhapatnam but we had to run around a lot sorting out all the issues with the Indian bureaucracy. But if we could do it, so could you . That is, if you are in a similar situation :)
