Albert Wesker || Play With Fire

I honestly believe this is one of the videos I'm the most proud of, sincerely.

We are back on an edit on Resident Evil ! And not on any character, but on one of my favorite male characters from the saga (like many, I know lol): Albert Wesker, THE villain of Resident Evil and one of the badass villains I've ever seen, honestly.

At first I just really wanted to do a badass edit on Wesker because he deserves it, goddam, and this song remains one of my favorites and I also realized how well it worked for him lol but I aloo put a big Wonesker bit (the Ada/Wesker ship) at the end of the video, just because it's my ship for Wesker and I thought it worked too!

As I know some of you watch my videos without playing or knowing Resident Evil, so here's a little introduction to Albert Wesker's character:

Albert was a child who was taken from his parents at a very young age because he had a particular DNA, by order of a man called Oswell E. Spencer, the principal director of the pharmaceutical company Umbrella Corporation which serves as a cover for experiments scientists who aim to create biological weapons.
But Spencer was an old fool who had a demented dream of creating a superior human race, annihilating present humanity, and ruling the new superior humanity like a god.
He intended to make this dream come true thanks to a virus he discovered, the Progenitor virus, so he took 12 children around the world who had a particular DNA to experiment on them with this virus. This will be the "Wesker Project".
This will follow years of experience and torture that will kill ten of the twelve children. Only Albert and a girl named Alex will survive this, and only Albert will develop certain peculiarities.
After that, Spencer is going to indoctrinate Albert and Alex to make them share his worldview and his dreams.
All of this will make Wesker a terribly cold, callous, calculating, cunning, manipulative man. He would work for Spencer and Umbrella for years, as a scientist and then in a special police unit called the S.T.A.R.S. He will inflict the same tortures on others as he suffered as a child in laboratories. But over time, he'll start to develop his own ambitions, see Spencer and Umbrella's downfall coming, and eventually he'll help make that happen a little bit.
After having organized a trap where he intended to steal the data of Umbrella, he will inject himself with another virus which will allow him to simulate his death (and thus to detach himself definitively from Umbrella and Spencer) and this virus will give him also superhuman powers. Thereafter, he will do everything to finish Umbrella, which he will eventually succeed.
Years later, he will also find traces of his adopted "father", Spencer, and thus learn the whole truth about his origins and what he is, as well as Spencer's dreams about him.
Coldly, Wesker kills Spencer, but he doesn't even realize that the indoctrination he suffered as a child is too ingrained in him, and after that he plans to pursue Spencer's dreams, to destroy current humanity and create a new, superior one over which he would rule as a god.
He will fight to make this project happen for years, but will fail, killing by old people from his past, nevertheless, his legacy will mark the world, and he has been the most badass and awesome villain to follow of all Resident Evil.

I ship him with Ada Wong, who has worked for him for years, but it's a headcanon ship, although a lot of the voiceovers and scenes in this video are canon, a lot of the others are also manips.

I am very proud of this video, and hope you enjoy it too, it was SO much fun to edit!
