The MAN-03 Braw Bro (0079)

The MAN-03 Braw Bro was the first mobile weapon that was developed for Newtypes. It was equipped with a psycommu system to allow the pilots to control the mobile armour with their brainwaves. As brainwaves are not affected by Minovsky particle interference, Newtypes were able to control remote weapon units with the psycommu system. As the Braw Bro was the first of its kind, the research team placed great importrance on the flight test data. They even designed the mobile armour such that it had three component modules. This is to ensure that the test data was more likely to be retrieved should the Braw Bro be damaged in battle. A prototype of the Braw Bro was tested near Side 6, piloted by Simus Al Bakharov. The left block was destroyed by the RX-78-2 Gundam, but the right block escaped.
