The first step of being a storyteller is to be a sensitive LISTENER AND OBSERVER. And Storytelling is not to be a fast activity but slow and paused.

Using various demonstrations, the Art of Storytelling was revealed to the audience through her unique method SMART TEL.

She explained the idea of her method by elaborating the acronym S for Structure; M for Method; A for Art; R for Reverence and T for Transformation. She urged the young audience to pursue what they liked to do and what they enjoy doing and everything done with passion can turn into an entrepreneurial success Geeta Ramanujam wears many hats and is the Founder Executive
Director of Kathalaya Trust- A Storytelling house established in 1998-
which reaches out to schools, corporate, NGOs with Storytelling
strategies and training. Geeta also founded the International Academy of Storytelling- The only Globally recognized academy for storytelling that has certified courses in Storytelling affiliated to institutions around the world. Completed 140 batches at its center and is on with its online
storytelling sessions.

A dedicated and experienced Teacher, school coordinator, Curriculum
designer, and developer for International Institutions and schools across the Globe Geeta has over 40 years of experience serving as a Curriculum designer for social sciences, English, Arts Integration programs for schools and universities both in India and abroad. She is on the board of many Institutions and has extended her services to Non-Governmental organizations in the country.
