You Can Be Invisible To Motion Detectors (Presence Sensors Needed)

Описание к видео You Can Be Invisible To Motion Detectors (Presence Sensors Needed)

So, I tested out several motion sensors in my home by moving slowly or standing still. There are problems that need fixing.

I've done previous videos on the problem of latency with video doorbells, especially in terms of getting notifications. This video is different. These different devices did not detect my presence at all, even when I was close to them.

Update: Here’s a Quick Look at the difference between motion sensors and presence sensors that I found

   • PIR Motion Sensor vs Presence Detecto...

I’ve been testing out video doorbells in real life for several years now. Working with several brands, I’ve found the most frustrating part about all of them is the latency problem of how long they take to notify me of someone there. This video takes it a step further by showing some tests where the motion detectors don’t pick up on motion at all because the motion is too subtle.

The best smart home security system is going to provide the home with a variety of ways to detect problems. Motion sensors and motion detectors are excellent, but they have limitations as demonstrated in my video.
