Long Dong Silver Spire (Hanksville Utah)

On the latest photo adventure we found ourselves in familiar territory with new sights to see. Hanksville Utah has some of the most amazing and captivating landscapes that are out of this world. From the Bentonite Hills to Factory Butte and Moonscape overlook you’ll find yourself asking the question, are we on another planet? On this particular adventure we hiked in to see the captivating Black Spire also known as Long Dong Silver Spire. The towering spire sits surrounded by massive cliffs and open sand. You feel as if you’re in Middle Earth on a quest to destroy the one ring with Frodo. So come along as we make the trek into the wasteland and stand at the foot of the impressive spire.
